H.Richard Dozier is a native of New Haven, CT., He holds a Bachelor’s in Political Science, and a Master’s in Counseling from Hampton University (HBCU), in Hampton, VA., and a Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Global Leadership from Lynn University in Boca Raton, FL. Richard is a resourceful and dynamic leader and educator of high integrity embodying a wealth of knowledge and experience in institutional and organizational resource management, fiscal management, growth management, strategic planning, and fundraising.
• Thirty (30) years experience in higher education
• Twenty-five years in ministry
• Experience working with local, state, and federal government agencies, and public and private organizations.
• A licensed, ordained, and former pastor, he is committed.
• Track record of significant accomplishments.
• Visionary, proactive, and energetic professional consistently successful in developing new initiatives, program implementation and assessment, and staff development.
A member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Over the years he has received numerous awards and accolades for his academic work and writing. He formerly pastored First Baptist Church in Brunswick, MO., and has served as the assistant/associate pastor at several other churches. He currently resides in the Houston, Texas area and continues to write and work on upcoming published works.
